2013 Team Formation
As the 2013 Little League Season approaches, league volunteers are busy working to get the season started, which includes assembling teams. For players participating in Challenger, T-Ball, Pioneer and Farm divisions, these teams are assembled by the league. For players playing in Juniors, Majors and Minors, volunteer managers / coaches conduct player try-outs and drafts for each respective division.

Here is some information on when teams will be formed:

Challenger, T-Ball, Pioneer and Farm Divisions

Team formation is dependent on the results of majors and minors placements. Part of this process requires that the league identify managers & coaches to help lead each respective team. These are typically parents, who volunteer their time to teach the great game of baseball to the members of our league. If you have the itch to coach, please contact the Challenger/TBall/Pioneer/Farm Player Agent. The league is currently looking for managers for TBall, Pioneer and Farm divisions.

Teams will be formed by the end of February. A mandatory managers / coaches meeting is scheduled for February 26th, at which time, managers will receive their team rosters and player contact information. Managers will begin to contact their players starting on February 27th.

Majors and Minors Divisions

Hats off to all the players who attended majors and minors tryouts on January 26th. Now that that process is complete, the next step in team formation is to conduct player drafts for each level of play, starting with majors.

Majors and Minors managers will convene on February 12th to select players for their respective teams via the 2013 player draft. Once both drafts are complete, the league will convey player contact information to the respective managers. Managers will begin to contact their players as soon as they receive this contact information (~February 14th).

For those Majors & Minors players that missed tryouts, the league will hold make-up tryouts on Friday, February 1st at either 4:30pm or 5:00pm. The league will contact each family to schedule the exact time on Friday. If you have any questions, please contact the Upper Division Player Rep.

Juniors Divisions
